Miley Cyrus- The Time of our Lives.

This EP was release August 28th, 2009. As of January 8 2010 the EP has sold 1,595,000 million copies worldwide, and is now available on iTunes. There are only 7 songs on the EP, (from now on I will call it an album, even though "officially" its not one.) The first song on the album is Kicking and Screaming. When I found out that Ashlee Simpson was a writer on this song I was surprised, but I not as amazed as you would think. It sounded like a song she would have a hand in, but lets talk more about the song itself. I love the energy that comes for the song. Its not the best with Mileys voice. If you listen to the Ashlee Simpson version, its 100 times better. Also this song is not the best on the album. So why did she put it first? You tell me. The next song on the album is Party in the U.S.A. If you haven't heard this song, there WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN. In my college dorm the girls next door always blast it when they are getting ready. Its a very great song, the only question I have is, if Miley is only 17, how does she know all about clubs. For real. Haha, but other than that its a good song. When I look at you, is the next song. Its a very slow song, and it reminds me a lot of her song, The Climb. Its the next single from the EP. It is on her new movie The Last Song. I think I'll like it more when I see the movie. The Time of our Lives, not only is it the name of the album but its a really nice song, its a little slow. The lyrics of the slow are really nice. My favorite line would have to be "Dreamers don't care if its right/ I think I'm really into you/ Restless, leave it all behind/ Tonight" I couldn't tell you why I like it so much, maybe because I'm a dreamer. Talk is Cheap. O.M.G I love this song. Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Woohoo Woohoo Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Woohoo Woohoo. That will get stuck ing your head, no doubt. It did for me. Obsessed. This is my new ring tone. This is another one of the songs I like. Why does she do this to me. She puts all the songs that I like at the end of the album. NOT GOOD. I had to listen to okay songs, before I got to the good stuff. This song alone is a 10/10. The last song on the album is Before the Storm. Its a duet with the Jonas Brothers, mostly Nick Jonas. I find it a little odd that they would do a song like this together when they dated, but the past is the past. I loved the song on the Jonas Brothers album. The only one about this version is that its LIVE. It does hurt nor help the song. Overall I would give the album a 8/10. Its not some of the best work she has put out. This EP is her transitioning her sound, and on that she gets a 9/10 because that's just what shes doing. Do you like Miley's EP? Whats your favorite song? Comments below.
